Dismantle bb cot?

Mommy thought of dismantle the bb cot since u never like sleeping inside. You are the only one never sleep in the bb cot before since u came home.  You cried hysterically when place u inside the cot. Now mommy has rearranged mommy's room to accommodate  a chair to bf u while u sleep. It's so much easier n comfortable now. But mommy still ng sei tak to dismantle it yet..

Dislike changing diaper

Lately u protest and struggle a lot when we try to put u down to change ur diaper or clothes. Even cleaning after ur poo has become a big challenge to mommy and kakak. At times, it is easier to wash in the toilet than wiping u on the mattress. You cried and tried turning over and also your left hands always try to scratch ur private area whenever we change you.  Mommy resort to let u wear mitten when change u..so that ur hands won't touch the poo or cream that we have applied on u.

Started crawling

You have started commando style crawling two weeks back when u were 8 months old. Now u can crawl.very fast to where u want to be. You love crawling on the floor more than the mattress. You love licking the floor too.

Gadget girl?

U r like ur gor gor...like hp..iPad...u will try all ur means to reach or grab any gadgets  u see around u. U also like remote control..mommy wonder why u like it so much..as if u know how to use it..once u get it..u will put it in ur mouth.

Ur upper 2 teeth is coming out soon

Kakak said saw ur upper 2 teeth is coming out but mommy has yet notice it..bb..u r growing too fast...

You started crawling

Yes...at 7 months and 3 weeks old...u started crawling by pulling urself forward using your hand. Like commando style crawling. U r so strong bb..

Roll here n there in the sleep

Nowadays  u don't sleep still...u will roll here and there in your sleep..mommy is creating so many barrier on the bed..afraid u will fall down. Now..u will sleep vertically  n diagonally too. Sometimes pushing mommy to one side too..nothing can block u...

Rejecting cereal

Lately u started to reject cereal. Ur hand very fast push it away and grab the spoon..creating all the mess....sigh..u r like ur jie jie..so difficult.  

Leave u behind

Few days back on Monday. .mommy decided to leave u behind with grandma and kakak at home coz daddy n mommy wanted to bring gor gor n jie jie to kidzania. It is not suitable for u coz it will  be crowded n noisy. This is the first time mommy  leaving u behind for so many hours ..total of 8 hours. Luckily  u were ok with kakak at home.

Coughing

Sorry..mommy passed u the  cough  bug 2 weeks ago but it is not a serious cough but sort of like allergy type of cough ...hope u recover  soon.

Moving forward

Today at 7 mths and 1 week old...mommy noticed u started moving forward  by using ur hand to push urself forward and also u started to lift ur butt  up and use ur leg to move forward.  Mommy believe in no time...u will  start crawling soon ..

2 lower teeth is out

Ur first tooth (lower right) out when u were  6.5 mths old.  Followed  by ur lower left..at 7 mths old..

Cranky day

Annabel. ..Annabel. .u have been very cranky today ..started last night.  U can really scream..till ur voice also changed. U r very sleepy but seems like something disturbing u..make so uncomfortable n hard to see....mommy is so deprived of sleep nowadays and kor kor is having exam somemore...sigh...when only u can settle down and let mommy have a good night sleep?

First day cereal

Today at 6 months 5 days old..you had ur first organic cereal. You love it so much that you finished the whole bowl. You even want more..haha...mommy knew u would like it coz u love mommy spoon feeding u milk too. Kor kor recorded the video for u. Mommy happy to see u enjoy ur cereal so much.

Biting mommy..

Yes..it started last weekend when you starting to bite mommy's nipple during nursing. You will bite with ur gum and pull the nipple away...gosh..it's painful...

On the first night..u bite mommy again and mommy scream in pain..I think mommy scared u and u starting crying after that..

Well..sign of teething...scary..scary. 

Tiny dots around your waist on your back.

Since last week..your lower abdomen and back started developed tiny tiny dots. Sent u see doc last Friday.  Doc prescribed eczema cream for you.  But the tiny dots still here today.  No improvement. ..the worse area is around your waist at ur back. Mommy wish it will vanish soon...mommy misses ur smooth smooth body..

Discovering feet

You started discovering your feet since 3 days ago..around last weekend. You started to lift your leg high up when lying down and holding your feet and exploring them.

Tonight. .while on sitting down position..you lowered ur body and starting to lick your feet.  Very soon..I think you will be like jie jie sucking your feet at this age...

Turn back from tummy down to up..

Yes..today....nope..it started last night but this morning mommy confirmed u can turn back from tummy down to tummy up by your own already...hooray. ..now..is the starting point for u to be turning and turning..rolling and rolling now..

Flu coming?

So continue from previous post. The next day you were difficult as well...so mommy decided to bring you see doctor for checkup because I hear some sound when you breathing...

Anyway. ..doc said ur lungs are cleared but saw ur right ear a bit swollen and red. Prescribed antibiotic ear drop for you to apply for one week. Need to go back for check up again after 1 week. Then doc want to spray ur nose using sterimar.  Mommy dare not look coz u were screaming so badly..then doc asked mommy to see. ...wau...so much phlegmy mucus coming out from your nose. Probably this are the ones that produces the sound and block ur breathing.  Doc asked mommy to spray this for u everyday to clear up ur nose. But it was hard. Mommy felt so stressful to spray in ur nose.

Mommy is praying that u will get well soon. Pray that ur ear is fine. Going to send u back for checkup either tmr or Monday. 

Worse night for mommy

On Thursday night...u were giving mommy the hardest night for the first time. U slept soundly in mommy's arm when it was bedtime but once mommy put u down..u were awake. Then mommy carried u up again and u slept again in my arm but again when I put u down. ..again u awake. ..something like it jie jie...it lasted from 12am till almost 2 am.  Mommy was tired and losing my patience. You started cranky but u just couldn't sleep. Mommy tried patting...humming...dancing...pacify in u using my breast but u suck n pull..suck n pull...mommy shaked harder n harder...getting more n more angry. ..started handling u more rough. For the first time...mommy is angry at you...until 3.15am...mommy couldn't take it...brought u down to kakak but the minute u reached downstairs. ..u were quiet...so I put u in bouncing net and u were playing by urself until 4am.  Then u make noise again....mommy then brought u up...and u refused to sleep again. Imagine from 12am till 4am..mommy is exhausted getting very impatience n angry. Put in bb cot n on the musical mobile for u. U played till 4.15am..finally u were tired and mommy carried and shake u to sleep. Around 4.45am. .u finally fell asleep.  Put u down and mommy were fast asleep too. But not long
.u woke up n started crying again...mommy looked at the clock. .it was just 5.15am. U just slept that maybe 30mins. Mommy carried n shake u very hard but u kept crying. Finally mommy brought u down to kakak and let kakak handle u. Mommy came upstairs feeling so upset and tired. Mommy cried....

U fell asleep fast on kakak arm and half hour later...brought u up n u sleep from then. Mommy knew that u might not be feeling too well that's why u couldn't sleep that night. But mommy just couldn't think properly after so many hours of making u sleep.  Mommy felt so helpless..mommy cannot wake daddy up coz daddy has work the next day.mmoreover u never wanted daddy. So no point waking him up.

For the first time..mommy felt so angry at u. Sorry annabel if mommy made u feel uncomfortable that night. Sorry if mommy has treated u so rough that night...sorry if mommy has said or thought something nasty about u. Mommy was just too tired. Mommy loves u very much. OK?

Hospital ER again

Last Friday night...daddy and grandparents n gor gor n jie jie went to Starbucks. .we stayed at home. U were sleeping but when u woke up...mommy saw u breathing with ur mouth..hee.haa..hee.haa. .mommy felt something not right. Then we decided to spray ur nose. Suddenly u struggle for breathe for about 30 secs . Mommy n kakak were so worried. Immediately mommy called daddy home. We monitored u for a while n saw around ur mouth has red red dots...again we worried it could be allergies. ..immediately we sent u to hospital ER. Doc checked u said u r fine. Just that flu is coming. Just spray the nose if necessary.  Costs daddy rm50.  At least we know ur lungs is clear.

Annabel...u broke our record of going to the ER n hospital in such young age.  But better be safe than sorry...again least u r fine.

Thigh get caught in between cot bars

U gave mommy a scare just now. Mommy needed to go to toilet so leave u in the baby cot. Mommy heard some noise..luckily mommy came out and saw ur thigh get stuck in between 2 bars. It was above ur knee level . Mommy tried to take out for u but it was stuck...mommy so scared n quickly called kakak up. ..luckily later mommy managed to take it out for u...phew...

2nd time flu

Sorry annabel...I think ur jie jie has passed the flu virus to us..mommy has it worse and you are no exception.  So far..u r having runny nose...sneezing and phlegmy sound. Mommy is sneezing badly with running nose. Before that mommy was having some sore throat too.

Mommy praying that you will recover soon...mommy has been trying to give you the freshest breast milk as I can...hope that my antibodies can help u fight with the virus. Hope both of us recover soon. We are now sleeping under the fan without air conditioning.

4 months immunization

Today mommy bring you for ur 4 months checkup. Mommy delayed for 1 week coz very reluctant to send u for the jab. Everything is well for you. You are growing well...now weight 6.59kg.  Finally reaching the 50th percentile marking. Towards the evening around 5pm...u started having fever and getting cranky. Mommy fed u fever med at 5.30pm and 11.30pm before sleep. U couldn't sleep well n you are wide awake at 3.30am now..

Looking for breast

It is so funny that you know how to look for mommy's breast while I am carrying you for nap. You will wiggle your body side way and your move ur mouth n head towards mommy's breast. You will also open ur mouth n show the sign to suck when touches mommy's breast. Such precious moment for us.

Shopping in mid valley

Yesterday we brought u out to mid valley for shopping, from 3pm till 10pm. You slept very well in mommy's chest throughout the shopping. Mommy also breastfeed u in the shopping center except last feed..mommy bottle fed u ebm.

First time turn over

Today on mommy birthday...you first time manage to turn over all by yourself. Last night sleeping..you have been so restless. .kept trying to turn over. Mommy tried to block you coz afraid u turned over n cant breath while sleeping.  U kept kicking mommy until mommy wound also pain already. Anyway...this is a good milestone u have acheived on ur 3.5 months old.

First trip to playground

Yesterday brought the children to the playground. This marked the first time annabel visit the playground in front of our house.

First we met opposite aunty...she never knew I was pregnant and was surprised I have a 3rd bb. Next was david's sister...she saw me carrying annabel and asked me who baby is this and when I said is mine..she didnt believe me. She thought I was joking. ..she then asked darren who is the bb gor gor and darren answered..me lor..then asked isabel whose is this bb and isabel said is our baby. Haha...it was so funny looking at her reaction. She commented I secretly give birth at home..

Anyway..annabel enjoyed looking at the surrounding and the breeze on her face.

Difficult baby?

We really have no clue...we dont know when u want to drink milk. .when you dont want..sometimes you drink so well...sometimes u didnt even want the teats go inside your mouth..

When u r sleepy..u just couldn't fall asleep..u will cry and cry and we gave u everything. .patting..carrying..singing song...facing fan..dancing..u still cry.  Sigh.  U r still so unpredictable.

Last night...mommy want to send jie jie to music class and u just cried non stop..just that 1 hr mommy ran in and out dont know how many times...

No one can handle you except mommy. You want nobody including daddy and kakak. You dont want bottle..just mommy's breast.

Hunger strike

Last weekend mommy went out for haircut and leave u at home with daddy and kakak. U protest and refuse to drink milk.  Not even one suck. You were crying so badly when mommy came home after 2 hrs...later mommy has to give in and breastfeed u.

First time roll over

During one of the might last week, mommy put u sleep side way and u turned over middle of the night and tummy down. Luckily mommy heard u make some sound and when I turn over and looked at u, ur head is hitting the mattress...u were struggling to lift ur head up....it marked the first time u flipped over urself.

Colic?

For the first time last night, u were crying so furiously. .not wanting anything but just scream top of ur lungs. Boobs..carrying. ..singing song.. rocking...all dont work. It was scary as u never like this before. Tried make milk..also cannot. .anything touches ur tongue...u just cried.

Mommy has to wake daddy up coz mommy really doesn't know what to do.   I think u have colic..dear...poor baby ...must be very painful for u. Mommy was so stress last night. Hope u will get through it fast enough.

2 months checkup and vaccination

We delayed ur second mth checkup due to your flu. Mommy want u to fully recover from flu first.

Doc said u r growing very well....slightly below the 50 percentile. Mommy told doc abt ur intake and u rejecting bottles...doc said maybe whatever u r taking is being absorb and u probably have small stomach. So feed more often in smaller qty. Doc even said u looked chubby. .how can be not enough feedings.

Anyway...today u received 2 jab and 1 rotavirus. Same like ur gor gor n jie jie...u cried very bad after the jab. Anyway..today u also a bit cranky..refuse to drink from bottle. So after the jab...mommy need to nurse u in hospital and calm u down first before heading home. Today mommy brought u to hospital alone in the afternoon. 
So u were cranky after that...only want to be carried...and refuse to drink milk after that. U only accept mommy's breast. I really dont know what to do. Mommy just bought a new pump today and hope to pump more milk for u. Now how? Tonigjt u wasted 30ml of mommy's milk and another 30ml went to jie jie stomach.

Spray nose

Sorry amnabel. The thing that mommy hate to do most is to spray ur nose with sterimar. I know how horrible it feels when water goes into ur nose but if I dont spray..u will get stuff nose and hard to breathe middle of the night and will keep struggling to fall asleep. 

My heart beat faster than u when I spray ir nose.  I feel 100 times more reluctant than u when need to use it. My heart feels more painful than ur nose when I see u struggle.  So sorry annabel...mommy loves u..

Interacting with mommy

This week is ur 11 weeks..and you started to respond to mommy when mommy talked to u. Last night at 4am...after spraying your nose..mommy started talking to you and u will respond mommy by 'nge grr..' sound. U even make sound like 'okie' when mommy ask u are u ok....it is just so nice to talk to u now. .

Don't want milk

Annabel..annabel...what's wrong with u this 2 days?  You doesnt want to drink molk during the day and prefer to sleep. 60ml of milk also u need to split into few sessions to drink. Last night u even wasted 20ml of mommy's milk. 1 bottle of frozen milk u also cannot finish in a day.

Today first bottle feeding only 40ml also u cannot finished. Once finished..u vomited out almost everything. Mommy scared of u and rather breastfeed u whole day. At you won't waste my milk.

Dont like daddy

Today for the first time daddy admitted that he cant sooth you..and every time he carries you..you seems very uncomfortable in his arm.  He said maybe is his muscle that is too hard.  Anyway..it is true that you don't seem to enjoy daddy carrying you.

Tonight....again you are not into bottle feeding and wasted 40ml of mommy's milk.  You vomitted out all that you drank and left about 20ml.

Pigeon bottle

Today mommy tried a new bottle on you and for the first time..you requested more milk after finishing up ur usual 60ml. Two times consecutively..u cried more milk. So you are drinking about 80ml during that 2 times.  But vomited out during ur second time. I think the pigeon teats is soft and you like it..so kept asking to suck on it...seems like mommy need to get u one more new bottle..it cost rm55 per bottle.

Doc checkup

Today sent you for doctor checkup..mommy was so worried last night that you may have oral thrush but luckily doc said itbis justb pearl. ..not thrush...it is normal.  Ur palate looked pale coz less blood vessel there. It is normal. Relief. ..

Then ur lungs is clear..just the nose has some shit...doc help to flush out for u. So sorry for making u feel so uncomfortable.  You cried so much..mommy dare not look too.
Your weight today 4.97kg...put on 1 kg from 1 mth ago. Good weight.  So no problem.

Wasted mommy's milk again.

Tonight you wasted 40ml of mommy's milk again. Monday u wasted 60ml. Luckily another 20ml mommy mixed into jie jie milk and shw finished it for u..or else..you wasted more milk. 

Rejecting bottle

Annabel..what happened to you? Why are you suddenly reject all bottle feeding today? You were still fine yesterday. Today you wasted mommy's 60ml of ebm....never touch at all. .at night...it was so hard to get u drink from bottle too. You cried amd cried...so badly....still dont want to drink...mommy really don't know what to do ...

First outing

Today is your first dau out to a shopping mall..sunway pyramid.  There is a disney junior event going on..so gor gor want to see phineas and ferbs and jie jie want to meet sofia. There are a lot of ppl there.

Now we r back. Mommy starts to worry did u catch any virus from there. Hope not. Baby..mommy promise wont bring u out anymore.

What do you want?

Annabel..mommy doesn't know what you want in the evening. ..you cried...give u ebm...u rejected...make u sleep..not able to sleep...give you my breast..you rejected too...walk u around..u quiet a while..then make noise again...which part of you not well? Is it the milk? Is it the wind?

Vomit

Annabel..you gave mommy a shock just now when you vomit those tau fu fa (fermented milk) out and rejecting the ebm and also kept crying. You seems not wanting the ebm and cried when I fed you. You didnt finish the ebm also. It isbthe frozen ebm I have taken out from fridge. Anything wrong with the milk? Dont scare mommy ok? Mommy is very worried about you, u know? Mommy just hope u are healthy n fine.

Fan..fan..

I like to explore the surrounding nowadays....especially looking at the ceiling fan. I can look at it for a long time and smile at it.

Interaction

Bb..when mommy is talking to you, you started to look at mommy and wanted to respond by giving mommy a smiling face and an 'o' shape mouth....you will listen to mommy quietly and smile sometimes..

Shivering

We noticed since you came back from hospital yesterday. .you started to have some shivering episodes this 2"days. Kakak noticed on your head while mommy noticed on your legs. Hopefully nothing ia serious here. 许慧芊,你一定不能有事!

Going to hospital emergency

Doc yesterday told mommy if I hear any wheezing sound or see you having difficulty breathing again..must sent you back for nebulizer. 

So mommy has been very sensitive with every single noise you make. Whole night mommy kept wondering do you have problem breathing. .until this morning at 7.39am...you seems fussing and hard to breath...immediately called daddy and sent you to hospital emergency again.

After doc check, luckily your oxygen level is back to 100% and there is no wheezing sound in your lungs. It ia just a false alarm.  Thank god...here you burn another hole in daddy's pocket..daddy said you are really an expensive baby. I said no....you are a poor baby who suffer so much in less than 100 days in the world. 

Lungs got wheezing sound

Luckily mommy called doc today to enquire about how to use the sterimar and need to send you for checkup or not..luckily doc suggested us to send you for checkup and also willing to take you in as last patient for the day.

I was surprised that doc heard wheezing sound from your lungs...my heart dropped when I heard doc told me you need nebulizer. ..no..no...not at this age..bb..you are too young to go through all these..

Luckily kakak carried you to do the nebulizer while mommy atayed back at the doc office to consult doc...I can hear your cry even from the doc office. Mommy wouldn't stand it if I sent you there...your oxygen level also dropped till 97.

Mommy is so worried about you. Doc prescribed 2 medication for you. Poor baby.. .mommy felt so sad that you have to suffer so much at such a young age...but I know you are a strong fighter and also a survivor. .do recover soon ok?

Btw..you weight 4.25kg today. Yes..you put on weight.

Use wrong sterimar

Sorry annabel...careless mommy used the wrong sterimar on you. No wonder you choke everytime mommy spray on your nose.  Mommy feels so bad and heartache let you suffer so much with the adult nozzle...sorry..sorry..sorry  

Good night sleep..

Annabel...you are such a good girl this 2 nights...sleep well at night. Thank you for letting mommy sleep through too. 

We are going home

Yes...today we are going home. You gotta be a good baby at home, ok? Yi yi is going to fetch us home as daddy is busy at work.

Mommy brought back a total of 28 bottles of ebm home for you for future consumption.  You are one lucky baby who fully breastfed by mommy.

Yes...we confirmed your name as Annabel Koh Hui Qian. So today, your fullmoon day, daddy is going to register your name on birth certificate, then bring us home. Today also is the first time you are going home...our home sweet home...

I am sure everyone just cant wait to see you at home...especially your gor gor and jie jie.

Start pumping

17/4 today marked the first day mommy started pumping and stored the ebm for you for future consumption. 

Finally....latch on left

Yes..baby..finally you are able to latch on the left side. Though it wasnt easy...still struggling, but it is ok. We can do it last night...we can sure do it again.

And yes...you finally able to latch on the right...after a week of trying. See..we dont need to use force and we can still do it....we can..you are great, annabel...

Decision made

Mommy has made a decision that we are not going to force you to latch on mommy's right breast. It's ok you only latch on the left..mommy can continue to pump the right side out for you. Mommy just want to enjoy the bonding with you. Mommy just didn't want to see you cry anymore. Anyway, we will go for pump feeding eventually. So it is ok, baby..

You refuse to bf, bb..

After yesterday episode, you refuse to latch on at all...both side. We were having hard time trying to latch you on and mommy is exhausted...both physically and mentally. You ended up consuming ebm and fm the whole day. Mommy broke down today...feeling so tired. It was so hard for us to establish the bond and trust to latch you on on left but mommy broke the trust by letting someone force you on mommy's right breast. So sorry..bb.....mommy just couldn't understand why you refuse to latch on? why are you keep sticking your tongue out?

First latch on the right by force...

Today the lactation consultant came and force you to latch on the right breast. Sorry bb...I know they are very rough...you cried for almost 25mins but finally you we're manage to latch on. For the first time, you emptied mommy's right breast.
Later, aunt Christine did the same thing to force you to latch on...you cried for another 20mins... It was hard for mommy to see you cry..mommy didn't want you to cry ...mommy wanted to give up many times but aunts Christine refuse to give up, again you succeeded to latch on again. Yes..you did it, bb..

Jaundice

Bb...you are having breastmilk jaundice. Your initial jaundice level was 258, dropped to 255 today. No need phototherapy. But you do look quite yellowish. Mommy fed you some formula milk, thinking to help you reduce your jaundice level but aunts Christine said breast milk jaundice is ok...won't cause any harm on you..so mommy continue feeding you bm.

Finally latch on on the left

Yes...yes.... You finally able to latch on on mommy's left breast. You are great, bb... We can do it...

Sorry Bb...

Mommy broke down today..after coming back from checkup. Mommy felt so sorry for you that you have jaundice, though not high until require phototherapy. Mommy also feel so bad that let you cry till your belly button pop up, though doc said it will subside in a month or two, nothing to worry. Mommy feel so sorry that you cant latch on to mommy breast, how to bf you like that? For the first time, mommy is so worried to bring you out coz I have no formula milk to bring out, you were spoon feeding in the center and I can't get you to latch on to get milk...feel so insecure...

Hard day

It was such a hard time getting you to latch on. Your tongue kept sticking out to push mommy's nipple away. You cried a lot...so sorry, my dear...you cried every single latch...until your belly button pop out. Mommy feels so bad every time see you cry...heartache..

First latch on..

This morning you finally managed to latch on to mommy's breast...the feeling is incredible...the bond with you...I feel we are so inseparable...

Born

The minute I see you I fall in love with you....my princess...you just looked like your gor gor. Your voice is loud and you do look like a boy. The only word I can use to describe you is CUTE... The only feeling I have towards you is to love you endlessly and protect you forever...I love you, baby!
